Welcome to Om Village! Our vision and intention here is to create beautiful art and art products that assist others in creating their sacred space. Whether it is art for the hall or the meditation shrine, or sending ornate cards for those special occasions along the way, we want to add a little more beauty, a little more shine, to life. We invite you to come on in, check out what it is we do around here, and hopefully you might find something that helps you create sacred space in your home as well as your heart.
Why the Om? And why a Village?
We chose the Om because of our love of yoga and our connections to the ancient mystical mysteries of India. We chose a village because we want to help create a spiritual community around the world. A village dedicated to peace and love, to right action, to sustainability and so many good things that the Earth needs right now.
Seva, or service, is the ancient Indian concept of giving and being of service to fellow humans and to life. Our seva takes many forms and one of those is here at OmVillage, through our Empower an Underprivileged Child in India Program. We want to make a difference in the world in a good way. We have found a doorway of opportunity with Nanhi Kali, a program that educates young women in India, giving them a chance at life that they might not otherwise get.
This is the essence of OmVillage, creating ways of healing and community all around the world, reaching beyond and above ourselves, blessing life, giving life back into life. It makes a big smile in our hearts!

Who are we?
My name is Phillip Mockingbird Higginbotham and my wife’s name is Manjula Higginbotham. Manjula is from India and I am from the U.S. We met several years ago while working on a project together for special needs children in India and the Middle East. Our love of art, music, children and healing drew us together and we now live in the U.S. Through Om Village, we have one more opportunity to do our souls work here on planet Earth!
